about
”Who your audience wants and expects you to be, can often be found in conflict with the person you want to be. When chasing the approval of others, you may, in the end, lose the approval of yourself.
With Panic I wanted to touch upon the idea of losing yourself and the dangers of social media. What happens when one confuses followers with actual love? Are you in control of your life or is your life controlled by others?
Sonically I wanted to create this feeling of a heart pounding. To create a sense of pressure which ties in with the theme of the song perfectly. Something to vibe to and something to think about as well.” – Jesse Markin
lyrics
on display like a sculpture
we all came for the vultures
we all paid for the vultures
is it love what they showed you
somewhere no one knows you
is yours worth starting over
do you have the controller
trying to get more exposure
inside the enclosure
what you see is what they told you
but they don't really know you
what happens when the door shut
embracing the seduction
one way is through destruction
let it shake up the whole structure
never getting younger
always driven by the hunger
the medicine is in the puncture
do you have the controller
trying to get more exposure
inside the enclosure
what you see is what they told you
but they don't really know you
what happens when the door shut
can not go where it once was
our first introduction
like ain’t no repercussion
is it love what they showed you
we all came for the vultures
we all paid for the vultures
one way ticket
trying to break a limit
I'm addicted, but it ain't true love now, is it?
